Frankincense Tears Boswellia papyrifera resin

Frankincense resin has been burned in ritual and ceremony for thousands of years.  Referenced in the Old and New Testaments multiple times; one of the three gifts to baby Jesus. Perhaps the original sacred incense.

Resins are typically burned on lit charcoals inside a censor, often with a bed of sand.
